Description
The Clean Walker mat is manufactured in Japan from high quality, durable polyurethane gel. The intrinsic adhesive property of the polyurethane catches and collects dust and dirt. Its non-transferring elastic surface conforms to the grooves of shoe soles and equipment wheels to remove contamination. When the mat surface becomes dirty, just wipe it with a water-dampened cloth. Neutral detergent or isopropyl alcohol can also be used to clean the mat. The adhesiveness returns once the mat is dry. Even after 3 years of use, the binding power of the Clean Walker mat remains virtually intact. The mat can be placed at entrances to cleanrooms, gowning areas and controlled environments to capture particles before they enter the clean zone. Multiple mats can be laid together in work spaces, heavy-traffic areas or wide doorways since Clean Walker mats do not have any borders or non-adhesive areas.
Because coarser particles such as sand or metal chips may become embedded in the mat and degrade the surface, this mat is recommended for indoor use away from direct UV light and under 60°C. It is not suitable to clean the soles of outdoor shoes. Do not rub the mat with a brush or dry rag because it may scratch the surface and adversely affect adhesiveness. To prevent accidents such as falls or slipping, do not use the mat while wet.
